Question: Wednesday, June 04, 2008
I was playing in a comp the other day and I was just off the green. I saw a twig on my line and removed it but was told that was against the rules as I had improved my line. Could you clarify?

Feeling vibration when making contact with the ball, is this a problem with my grip, the ball or my clubs?
Question: Tuesday, August 21, 2007
I have a 50 degree gap wedge that I've seen others get incredible spin from only 15 to 25 yards out with a very low trajectory. How do they do it? I know it has to be hit from a good lie and using a soft cover ball, but still no luck, what swing do I need to practice?
Question: Wednesday, August 08, 2007
Using a driver, if your ball was in the center of your stance club face square to target line, feet hips shoulders parallel to target everything would be perfect. But using a driver you ball is forward inside your front heel, now your club and club face is at and angle slightly to the left, do you adjust your stance to square up club face to target? And if so, you're not swinging true to your target line. Can you please clarify for me?

I hit all my irons on the toe, or near the outer edge of the iron. I've tried standing closer, but it feels awkward and doesn't help. Any suggestions? p.s. I hit all my woods just fine. I play 6 to 7 times a week, handicap 8.
Question: Friday, September 08, 2006
If you were 20' from the pin and 2' off the green with the ground level but the ball is sitting on hard dirt and you can't put because of light rough, what club and what shot would you use and where in your stance would you play it?
Question: Friday, September 01, 2006
I need help making a decision. I am a 13 handicap. I am pretty consistent in the high 80's. My biggest problem is around the green ... short game. Another problem is I get 15 to 20 rounds in a year. The last 2 years has had me hitting TaylorMade RAC LT's with 6.0 shafts. I did OK and hit many good shots. I decided that since I play so seldom maybe a set of forgiving clubs would make my game a happier one. So I trade my RAC's for Ping G5's. I have read nothing but great things about these clubs. Verdict. After 2 rounds I have to say I hate them. I stink. I don't think I hit one good shot. Left, low, and just plain bad. Do you think it will take time to get use to them? I am not sure of this, because I can pick up someone else's clubs and hit them ok. Are they maybe the wrong clubs for me. I hit down on the ball and wonder if the wide sole makes me bounce. Is it possible for such a highly praised club to be wrong for me (yes, they were fitted), or am I just over reacting and need some time to figure them out? Help please as I am embarrassed on the course.

I just bought a Hybrid for the first time. It works great, I get good distance from it. My question is, should I have a graphite put on it, or stick with the steel shaft?
Question: Monday, July 24, 2006
I have a problem that is really starting to get to me. I'm a lefty and had a bad slice, I got a stronger grip and really started to roll my arms at impact, this cured the slice, but, now I have a hook, or sometimes a push. I also changed my grips to oversize.
Question: Thursday, July 20, 2006
I have been trying for two years to shorten my backswing but have been unable to do so with any regularity. I am very frustrated. Can you suggest any drills or swing thoughts that might help?
